SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to manage and maintain our large-scale global enterprise network topologies. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructures, utilizing technologies such as Cisco IOS/NX-OS, NetGen firewalls, and load balancers. A key focus will be on SD-WAN projects to enhance our network performance and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/WLAN and associated subsystems.
- Lead SD-WAN projects to optimize network connectivity, improve performance, and enhance security.
- Research emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure adaptability and recommend solutions.
- Identify manual tasks and develop automation to improve efficiency and mitigate network issues.
- Assist in deploying cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) using Microsoft Azure resources.
- Implement and manage network and cloud security models in collaboration with Information Security and Compliance teams.
- Perform risk assessments and security audits, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide third-level support for systems and applications, collaborating on voice, video, network, and security projects.
- Handle escalated tickets from the Help Desk in a timely manner.
- Contribute to documentation, including Knowledge Base articles, design documents, and test plans.
REQUIRMENTS
- Minimum of four years of experience as a network engineer.
- Networking routing and switching certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA).
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions and implementation strategies.
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (e.g., Forescout, Cisco ISE).
- Familiarity with ITIL Framework and various network protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.).
- Experience with at least four of the following technologies:
- Cisco IOS/Nexus
- Enterprise firewalls
- Enterprise wireless networks
- Telephony systems (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
- Enterprise monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds)
- Load balancers (e.g., Citrix NetScaler, F5)
- IPS/IDS
- VPN/SSE/SD-WAN
- Cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
